Robert M. Dohrmann

Robert M. Dohrmann, who passed away in 2023, was one of the pillars of the labor bar, both here in Los Angeles and beyond, for more than 50 years. He litigated and won Los Angeles Dept. of Water and Power v. Manhart, 435 U.S. 702 (1978), which forced the City to equalize benefits for women employees.  He played an active role in the bar and lectured frequently on a wide range of topics throughout his career.  Most importantly, he helped our clients meet unprecedented challenges through his legal insights and lawyering ability.
